This image was taken at the 'National Moment of Silence Event' in August. I couldn't believe the moment I had preserved in this image. It gave me chills and has been on the back of my mind for months afterwards. After the grand jury decision, I couldn't keep this to myself anymore. I couldn't hide this image and my feelings anymore.
St. Louis is a city of struggle and pain, but it is also a city of healing and hope. May this picture show our hope and the promise of a better tomorrow.
